This is our go to place when we need an on the go quick lunch. We called ahead and placed the order and when we arrived we were greeted with a lovely smile and our order was ready. I ordered the Manhattans. A delicious pastrami and Swiss on French. It was a little saggy and over salted, but I still enjoyed it. And of course my favorite is the huge pickle that is a meal by itself.

The white macadamia chocolate cookie was a delish add on. For a $1 you get a full meal with a dessert.

    Food - 2 stars
    Service - 4 stars

I always order the Mr. Pickles sando
This one was nothing like any of the other locations I have ever eaten at.  They use sliced deli chicken, not cut chicken, and the rest of the ingredients was like a subway or any other sandwich shop kinda cheap, not the normal Mr. Pickles produce and quality that I am used to.  Sandwich just threw me off and didn't fill me up or tickle my pickle ha.

Service was super friendly and very nice.

Always searching for something new to try, my wife and I decided to try this place for our weekly Friday lunch date. It was a bonus because she had a coupon for a free sandwich with the purchase of another sandwich and two drinks.

We arrived about 12:30pm and it was not very busy. It is located on the corner of a small strip mall with what seemed like very limited parking. We were able to find a spot fairly easily and walked in.

We were immediately greeted by a young man behind the counter and began looking at the menu board. My wife appreciated that the sandwiches are identified by hot or cold sandwiches on the menu board since she doesn't like hot sandwiches. She also liked that they use Truckee sourdough company bread.

We placed our orders and the staff behind the counter were friendly and efficient. We paid at the counter and our sandwiches were prepared as we paid.

The sandwiches looked really good. I ordered the Italian Stallion on dutch crunch and my wife ordered the Super Bird on multi-grain.

The interior is very dark, in fact most of the light fixtures were off and it felt dark and dingy. The interior was just okay - it could really use some updating. There were a lot of green colors which we expected were because their theme is Mr. Pickles. The interior furniture is plastic patio furniture.

We felt like the sandwiches were good but not mind blowing but the inside of the place is kind of sad.

Maybe ordering a sandwich to-go is the way to do it.  There was a steady stream of people coming in to get orders to-go. Overall - just okay.

I ordered a vegetarian sandwich and what a got was pickles, onion and avocado slapped between two slices of bread. No sauces, no mustard..nothing! The sandwich maker was told to put all the vegetables in the sandwich and that's what the end product was...there wasn't even any lettuce?! Would not recommend!! I would give one star but the sandwich maker had a great attitude. I won't be going back to this place.

On a trip to the Reno area, we stopped to pick up a bite for the long roadtrip home and were not disappointed. We were greeted by the very friendly owners and they were wonderful with helping us make a selection. All of the sandwich fillings are cut fresh and the quality was excellent. They even accommodated my request to leave out the bread and make my choice a salad instead. The frozen pickle pops were a nice keto dessert too. We would definitely go back again and wish this was closer to home for us. I bet their catering is amazing as well. Five stars!
